Tom Murphy
Tom Murphy is a Petrol head that hails from the western suburbs of Chicago. He spends his time studying Finance at DePaul University, following formula one, and go-karting with his mates. At a young age, Tom became obsessed with Lamborghinis. He was drawn to the vertically opening doors, outlandish styling, and massive V12’s. As Tom matured, he began to appreciate everything with an engine and steering wheel. Today, Tom attends a majority of automotive related events in the Chicago Tri-state area. He aims at bringing news from the automotive industry and enthusiast culture. Tom with the help of the Petrolholics crew stride to be your source for anything automotive related.
Top Five Favorite Cars: Ferrari Enzo, Pagani Zonda F, Lamborghini Murcielago SV (with the six speed manual of course), Koenigsegg Agera, and last but not least the iconic Ferrari F40.

Carmen Smith

Carmen Smith spends his time as a loyal tifoso of Scuderia Ferrari and—on the side—an Animal Science major at Cornell University. He grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. After he began to notice the expensive cars of the surrounding towns, Carmen was inspired to learn more about these machines; however, it was not until years later that he took interest in the automotive business and motorsports. Before this time he judged cars solely on aesthetics, but this newly found interest led him to appreciate the pure driving experience and the technology behind the automotive industry. Today, he wants to spread this love and appreciation for cars; to do this, he joins the rest of the Petrolholics crew in bringing you the most interesting news about the automotive industry, technology, and motorsports.

Cameron Kmen
Cameron Kmen is the lead baseball writer for Majoronions.com, which has absolutely nothing to do with the automotive industry. Don’t let that fool you though. Cameron used to love cars, but that love faded away over time. Since meeting Tom and Carmen, that love has been rekindled, and that’s why he’s here writing for Petrolholics. Right now, Cameron is finishing up his degree at Aurora University and plans to graduate in the near future with a B.S. in Finance and minor in Computer Science. He loves German and Italian engineering, but also loves what Tesla is doing in the electric space.
Favorite Car: Peel P50, because giving you a list of cars is cliché.
