When Ferrari first announced that they were going public back on October 29th, 2014, there seemed to be a bit of backlash throughout comment sections on various websites. Many were claiming that going public would be the kiss of death for Ferrari. After getting tired of his Lexus, my cousin Joe decided he would buy his “within reach” dream car, an Audi A6. He searched through offers and ads for used A6s and eventually found one that was significantly a better offer than the rest. The A6 at this Las Vegas dealership was cheaper than most of the other options he found, and this one even had some sport upgrades; because of this, Joe knew that this was the car for him. The McLaren Sports Series: Mclaren’s attempt to compete with Porsche’s 911
With McLaren’s pledge to add a new vehicle to their lineup each year, 2015 is approaching quickly, and today, McLaren has launched a teaser campaign for their highly anticipated affordable model. This campaign, which was initiated by a teaser video, goes by the name of Black Swan. A Black Swan symbolizes something groundbreaking that “challenges beliefs,” and I believe that McLaren is referring to the new affordable model as being the black swan to their rivals’ white swans.
